ISLAMABAD—Ansar Naqvi, a senior journalist and director programming at 24 News Television, was among those killed in the Pakistan International Airlines plane crash at Karachi's Model Colony near Jinnah International Airport on Friday.
PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez said that the A320 Airbus (PK8303), flying from Lahore to Karachi, had 90 passengers and eight crew members on board.
According to media reports, Naqvi was on his way to Hyderabad to celebrate Eid with his family.
He started his career in journalism in 2002 and was on the launch team of Geo News. He also worked for The News.
